Thorns Sign Midfielder Carissa Boeckmann

PORTLAND THORNS SIGN MIDFIELDER CARISSA BOECKMANN


PORTLAND, Ore.
– Portland Thorns FC have signed midfielder Carissa Boeckman from Florida State University through the 2025 season.


Boeckman comes to the Rose City having most recently played at Florida State University where she recorded one goal and four assists in 21 matches. Boeckmann spent her first three collegiate seasons in her home state at Texas A&M where she appeared in 61 games, scoring six goals while assisting on an additional 10 goals.

 

Portland Thorns are currently in the midst of preseason, preparing for the upcoming 2025 regular season, the current roster as it stands:

 

Goalkeepers (2): Mackenzie Arnold (INTL), Bella Bixby

 

Defenders (8): Daiane, Sam Hiatt, Mallie McKenzie, Marie Müller (INTL), Nicole Payne, Jayden Perry, Isabella Obaze (INTL), Reyna Reyes

 

Midfielders (7): Carissa Boeckmann, Sam Coffey, Jessie Fleming (INTL), Sophie Hirst, Olivia Moultrie, Hina Sugita (INTL), Olivia Wade-Katoa

 

Forwards (6): Payton Linnehan, Sophia Smith, Alexa Spaanstra, Pietra Tordin, Reilyn Turner, Morgan Weaver.
