Joining Portland for her first NWSL season, Daiane brings a wealth of competitive and title-winning experience that the Thorns will look to lean on in 2025.
She arrives in Portland fresh off a six-year stint with Brazilian giants Flamengo where she won two league titles (2023, 2024) as well as the 2023 Copa Rio. Prior to her return to Brazil, she spent six years abroad in Europe, fielding for major sides like Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain while also helping Norwegian side Avaldsnes IL lift their first ever Norwegian Women’s Cup in 2017.
An international player for Brazil, Daiane has made 12 appearances for the Seleção that includes the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup and the 2018 Copa América Femenina (which Brazil won).
