Moira Kelley signed with Portland after impressing staff during the 2025 preseason and will look to contribute to the Thorns backline ahead of her NWSL rookie year.
Kelley was pivotal in defense at the collegiate level, starting in all matches of her career at both Kansas University (2020-23) and University of Virginia(2024), helping the latter reach the second round of the 2024 NCAA DI Women’s Soccer Tournament.
