Pietra Tordin

A notable U.S. youth star, Pietra Tordin signed with the Thorns for her rookie NWSL Season after an impressive career with Princeton University.

Tordin was key to the Tigers’ lifting the 2024 Ivy League Regular Season and Conference Tournament titles as well as securing berths to the 2023 and 2024 NCAA DI Women’s Soccer Tournament. As a Tiger, she scored 30 goals and assisted 11 in 45 matches.

Internationally, Tordin garnered national attention after she scored a finished as the top scorer for the U.S. side that placed third at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, highlighted by her hat-trick performance in a 7-0 victory against Paraguay in the group stage to become the fifth player in USYNT to achieve the feat in the competition.
