Carissa Boeckmann

Carissa Boeckmann inked her first professional contract with the Thorns after impressing during the 2025 preseason.

Before linking up with Portland, the Texas native had an impressive 2024 season at Florida State University where she started all 21 matches to help the Seminoles lift the ACC Conference Championship and secure a #1 seed in the NCAA DI Tournament. Her first three seasons at the collegiate level were played with Texas A&M, helping the Aggies clinch consecutive SEC Tournament appearances in 2022 and 2023 as well as a spot in the 2023 NCAA DI Tournament.

Boeckmann also carries pre-professional experience with USL W League side Tampa Bay United, leading the team in goals (10) and assists (5) on their path to a perfect 12-0 regular season record and a spot in the Southern Conference Final.
